Nicolai (“Nico”) is a highly experienced legal search consultant with over 15 years of experience. A qualified lawyer, Nico was previously Head of Tax & Legal with an international search business before spending the majority of his search career with a leading legal search boutique, where he led the German in-house search business until March 2019. Nico joined Laurence Simons in 2019, opening the German office in Frankfurt.
Nico has a broad in-house search practice, advising a variety of businesses in Germany and across the Nordics and CSS region. He has advised start-ups over “German Mittelstand” as well as DAX30 or Fortune500 and covers a variety of sectors, including Manufacturing, Technology, FMCG, Financial Services and Life Sciences.
Nico is the proud father of two girls, a keen sportsman and an avid supporter of Eintracht Frankfurt. Such an enthusiastic supporter, in fact, that he managed to persuade the club to lend their eagle mascot Attitla to attend the opening of our Frankfurt office!
